What Do a Panda, Penguin, and Platypus Have in Common? Google Uses Them to Grade Your Site’s Content

Since 2011, Google has frequently updated their search engine algorithms (Panda, Penguin, Platypus) to identify websites with low-quality or trivial content. Sites that have content with weak writing or poor grammar, spelling, or punctuation, or which use keyword stuffing, cloaking, or other “black hat” SEO tactics, are penalized in Google’s search rankings. • Hi! First, please accept my apology for the delayed reply; for some reason, your comment was filed in “Spam” and I just corrected the error. Second, I really appreciate you letting me know about the IE issue, as I agree with you that it’s important. I think I’ve successfully fixed the problem. I checked the site from my own computer using IE, and it looks good. Please let me know if you experience any further issues viewing my site with your browser. Thank you!

  1. Heya terrific website! Does running a blog like this require a lot of
work? I have virtually no expertise in coding but I was hoping to start my own blog
soon. Anyways, should you have any ideas or tips for
new blog owners please share. I understand this is off topic however I simply had to
    ask. Cheers!

    • Hi! Thanks for your comment. I must begin by apologizing for my delayed reply, but the comment was filed in “Spam” for some reason and I just corrected the error. To answer your question, running a blog does take some time and effort, and consistent blogging over time will have better results than only doing it here and there. But, the good news is that you don’t need to know coding to start your own blog; sites like WordPress, for example, make it easy for anyone to create web pages and blogs, because they allow you to design in visual layouts while the software does the coding for you. Understanding some elements of coding is helpful, though, and will enable you to do more advanced things such as putting text in shaded boxes or adding payment portals to your page.

I hope this was helpful, and I will address your suggestion about tips for new blog owners in some of my upcoming posts. Stay tuned, and thanks so much!

  2. You really make it seem really easy together with
your presentation but I to find this matter to be really something
that I think I would never understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very wide for me.

I am looking forward on your subsequent publish,
I’ll try to get the hold of it!
